| I visited this pub today (29/03/07), keen to spend some money. Unfortunately there was no one manning the bar. I waited patiently for several minutes, coughing, moving about, doing the usual things to attract attention apart from shouting out. Eventually I tracked down a lad I believe is the publican's son. I asked if anyone was serving; he asked me why, and then told me that someone would be there 'eventually'. At this point I walked out, but as I got in my car the boy came to the door and made a gesture. So, if you want to visit this obviously failing pub, good luck to you! oldbore - 30 Mar 2007 00:12 |
| This pub has gone so far downhill. It used to be a nice, comfortable place with good beer and good, reasonably-priced food. It has become totally scuzzy, your feet stick to the floor, bits are falling off the walls and it's full of lairy drunks. Someone needs to take this place in hand because it could be so much better. anonymous - 10 Mar 2006 20:22 |
