Now the Railway Inn and unsurprisingly just over the road from the station. 4 cask ales plus 3 cask ciders available along with decent food. Worth a visit.

Under new management, regretably the landlord passed away recently, but some things don't change! Music Friday and Sunday afternoons, one real ale now on and friendly bouncers at weekends.

used to go in this pub 18 years ago was quite a nice pub back then went in there new years eve heard there was karaoke there. then was told by the karaoke guy he was told by the manager he wernt to do karaoke he was to do disco instead derrr why did they hire a karaoke compare in the first place ? the place was quite busy till the manager said he didnt want karaoke then evryone left to be honest the manger seemed to be a total asshole he was talking to the karaoke guy out side how the karaoke guy didnt give the manager a slap i dont know the way he was talking to him was absolutly rude. the bar staff were ok but i will say ive never walked into a pub and felt so unwelcomed in my life the prices for alcohole and soft drinks were very expensive the atmosphere was well there wernt one really unless your a regular in this so called pub i wouldnt recomend going there the doormen wernt exactly friendly either kinda says something about a pub if they need doormen in the first place maybe they get a lot of trouble but i certainly wont be going in there ever again unless it gets taken over by a new manager one that knows how to treat staff and customers properly and that welcomes strangers into the pub rather than making them feel like lepers

Simply dreadful. The waiting room at an East German border crossing was far more welcoming. The barstaff, mainly female fatties, eventually serve you with the maximum of reluctance and surliness. Boasts food, but none is available, which is probably a plus. Take care when crossing the floor, you could trip over the grooves which the customers make with their knuckles as they shamble to the loo. Prices higher than pubs I know in central Brighton and , quite frankly, they should pay YOU to go in.
