food is micro waved but ok,its cheap.most of the staff have no idea. carpets are covered in dropped food and you will stick to the bar or table if you lean on them. its a shame they employ mostly youngsters who have no clue including the manager. at the end of the day you get what you pay for. osprey52 - 16 Oct 2011 20:26

I love this pub. i find the staff so friendly and the food is always really tasty. They are undergoing a huge refurbishment this month and i can't wait to see it. i reccomend the lunch club as you can have a meal, drink and desert for only £5.00. Well worth it. samwrite - 9 Jun 2010 20:17
We have been to The Mill once or twice and found the food ok. Unfortunately, although the drinks are great, with a good variety, the standard of food has dropped dramatically, in fact, the sunday lunch was inedible. The chicken had been micro waved into oblivion and was like shoe leather. The management were not receptive and tookpayment from our card as we had a tab running. We will not go there again. Next time we'll be going to The Lamb inn on the maRSH ROAD. nrl10 - 18 Apr 2010 18:55
I recently went to the mill in Eastbourne and found it was excellent. The staff were friendly and our food arrived quickly and hot. This seems to be due new management. The manager Andy Burrage was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, there is a new menu where you can get main meals at £3.99. My kids loved the play area and the fish. Would reccommend this pub to anyone especially families. samwrite - 1 May 2009 20:44
