| Looks nice from the outside, and right on the front. However we changed our min on entering/ordering. House doubles really expensive and miserable-as-sin staff. I know the weather was bad but the atmosphere here made it feel much worse. Are these staff used to working at the check-out at Kwick save. | This pub has reopened after a complete refurbishment. Now looks clean and plesant. However for a "new" manager" the welcome is porr and unreceptive. Just "Yes" or "What do you want?". A real disappointment if it continues like this. It will end up the same as virually every other pub in Eastbourne when there is no welcome (apart from your money).
