Quite a friendly environment, maybe too friendly especially when it comes to waiting staff taking a chip from a fellow diners plate as it is served on the table. (Eating it with a cheeky grin!). Whether they are friends or not this is not good etiquette. I was astonished by this behaviour. Angela11 - 30 Aug 2008 20:05
OK, I was wrong. This place isn't as bad as The Moby Dick. A close second though.... doolally - 10 Aug 2008 19:35
No, it's wrong. the food isn't as good as it used to be. It is pleasant, but shockingly expensive for a back street pub. Decor is looking a little tired. staff are pleasant, if humourless. Suddenly, The Moby Dick looks good....(never thought I'd say that!) doolally - 5 Aug 2008 18:12
I'd echo the previous comment, the only thing I miss about the area and definitely worth a visit (particularly on quiz night)! I'll be back soon... tpw101 - 8 May 2008 08:19
I used to live around the area and by far the best (probably only worth visiting) pub in the area. Very friendly staff, brilliant burgers and good beers. I thoroughly recommend it (about the only thing i miss in the area!) Jaminho - 24 Apr 2008 16:48
