What is the problem with this place. Prime position opposite pier yet all day it plays lounc rap/hip-hop videos. No wonder visitors pop in, hear the music and make a quick exit.

Blimey - this has really gone downhill. Perfect position opposite the pier but now with the added "bonus" of vast tv screens - just what we need. Can get very rough during the summer and showing footie won't help. Avoid unless you like yobs and screaming kids stuffing their faces with McDonalds and chips. A delight.

What on earth is going on at this place. A warm Saturday lunchtime and the place was completely empty. The TV was blaring out a sports programme at full volume and the only people were a scummy family who kids were wrecking the outside. With decent pubs closing down every day, how can one like this survive. Get rid of the staff or close it down. It certainly won't be missed. Either way having kids running riot will bring you the wrong crowd and put many off. No rating - it deserves nothing.

New managers yet again. This is the fourth lot in 7 years. Friendly enough but unusual to hear rap blaring out in Eastbourne at 2.30 and all afternoon. That's probably why it was empty. This is really hit and miss and I wonder how long this new manager will last. No doubt they will have changed when Jay Z is replaced with something more suitable.

Went in here on the airshow weekend whilst waiting for some planes to come over. Two real ales were on the bar, lon pride + spitfire. 3 halves of spitfire were ordered. Thankfully didn't risk pints. Opinion
was totally agreed, stuff was undrinkable. If you want to fill up with fizzy lager then I imagine this is as good as the next "bar" if you are after decent real ale then walk on by to the terminus or buccaneer
