| The stairs at the front entrance to this place lead down to a large dimly lit bar with plenty of greenery, as the name would suggest. There is a standard selection of draught alongside Peroni, but unfortunately the Guinness was off, which would have been nice to know before my wife’s pint had been pulled. There is a courtyard up some steps at the rear of the building, but due to being partially covered it is a no smoking area. I thought that this bar was a little pretentious and I’m not a fan of relaxing to the hits of Kylie Minogue so I doubt that I’ll return. Strongers - 1 Sep 2009 15:28 |
| This used to be a really nice pub when it was managed properly. Now it has really gone down hill. Its just a pub for teenagers and the quality of the drink and food reflects that. What a shame. anonymous - 12 Jul 2007 03:31 |
