| In contrast to the previous comment on this page, I have to say that we had an excellent meal in the Crowtrees Inn last weekend. As a group of six (including two discerning Americans), we chose a range of dishes from the menu and not one of them disappointed: the lamb shank was especially good and my wife had a steak which she said was perfect. Additionally, the service was attentive and polite without being intrusive. The restaurant is run by a young couple who deserve to do well. Top marks! Childnurse - 6 Apr 2006 15:09 |
| I had a meal here recently and we wont be going back,one of the sirlion steaks we ordered tasted sour and was very difficult to chew.When I complained to the waitress she sent the landlady out,she was quite arrogant and rude and said there was nothing wrong with it.On the very rare occassions I have had to complain at other pubs,I have been given an opoligy and a replacement or refund.In my opinion avoid this pub.
