This pub has just changed hands a few weeks ago and the new owners have given it a lovely new lease of life, its so warm and friendly.
Cask Ales were Saltaire Blonde, Timothy Taylors Golden Best and Black Sheep, they also have another rotation pump for monthly specials.
Prices are very reasonable. Now its back to a busy traditional village pub where children, dogs and walkers are welcome.
I will definitely be back in here soon.

This apology for a pub has 2 different prices depending on if you fit in or not. For example, Carling £3 or £3.40. I asked Denise, the "landlady", if this was the case and she blatantly lied. I went back to confirm and witnessed it for myself. I will not be going back to this place while it is "run" by a lying landlady who thinks she's above any of her customers

My first visit to this pub which was made on a Saturday early-lunchtime with the pub very quiet. The white-painted exterior is very similar to the many stone terraced houses in this area so it blends in well architecturally. The open interior is clean and comfortable but a little 'fussy' perhaps with an enormous amount of brassware especially. There is also a good pool table . The one 'real ale' was Taylor 'Golden Best' and it was well-served. The landlord was friendly enough. Tetley's ale was also on but I'm not sure if that's classed as real ale anymore by the afficionados and it seems to be boycotted by many people in Yorkshire owing to it now being brewed in the Midlands. An ok pub if nothing spectacular and I would certainly call in here again.

Before commenting I read the other posts, and I decided not to bother other than to say there's nothing amazing to write about for this place, it's likely to be closed down before long like so many pubs.

'Alibongo73' - he was just a bloke who served me pints, like the new bloke. Calm down son.
