Nice little pub in a pleasant village. Old Spot Light But Dark, Everards Sunchaser, Taylor Landlord and Tetleys Bitter were all available. Inside was fairly busy but the loud music was a little off-putting. We opted for the nice courtyard at the front, where we sat and enjoyed our drinks with a setting sun. Service was fairly friendly. blue_scrumpy - 4 May 2011 18:24
This public house is under refurbishment, The restaurant is already up and running. The food is first class. Every attention to detail is important to the owners, chef and restaurant manageress. The food may be a little pricey but you get what you payfor. If you want cheaper food, you get rubbish food. The food is freshly cooked no microwave. The pies and other things are all home made. We went for Valentine's evening , it was amazing with the food and the staff had gone to the trouble to make the night a memorable one. A Rose and chocolates awaited. Theses people only took the pub in July of 2010, so it is wrong to read comments before that date. We will definitely be going back and by talking to diners, it was not the first time they had been and would not be the last. Drink prices are the same as elsewhere. pig44gie - 17 Feb 2011 18:56
Had a beautiful meal at the Busfeild Arms (21/12/10) for my birthday. They staff were very busy with Christmas bookings but fit us in and we were made to feel very special. The meals were lovely, nothing too much trouble and they even surprised me with a 'birthday cake' and candles. Thanks for a lovely evening. Highly recommended. micknlynne - 21 Dec 2010 20:38
Visited this place yesterday evening. The pub building and grounds themselves are pretty decent and tidy. Only had Timmy Taylor's Dark Mild on which was okay. Prices aren't though! Much higher than you'd get down the hill in Keighley or in Skipton or Ilkley for that matter. Food looked pricey as well so decided not to hang around after one drink. Pity! wooly2708 - 3 Sep 2010 11:48
A year on and no reviews. Pre the new landlord place was filled with dog walking a**eholes. Looked down their nose at everyone. Hopefully the ponce clientelle will be removed when the new landlord starts. Has he started since Mid 99? Seve1974 - 24 Aug 2010 23:06
