Abbott ale at £3.10 per pint- they are having a larff! - then say they are having a special offer in Feb buy 4 get 1 free which almost brings it down to an acceptable price. Place was empty and smelled of chip fat. Not a great experience!! covman45 - 21 Feb 2010 15:58
Felt about as welcome as a fart in a space suit...tried a half pint of Sneck Lifter (£3 a pint) which wasn't the best. Seems popular with Pool and Darts players. Loud TV and Radio was annoying. There are much better pubs in the location. ICTGringo - 2 Jan 2010 22:56
Was served a rank pint of cascade at the weekend. Very expensive pub also. Best avoided. There are much better places to go locally than this dump spookyhead - 23 Jul 2008 17:24
Of all the pubs on this pub loaded stretch of road, this is the one I stop at first. But thats just because its at the top of the hill. BolshevistBoozehound - 12 Sep 2007 12:11
