Was in here a few weeks ago, on what was a fairly busy saturday afternoon , beer was Bath Ales x 2 Gem and Barnstormer, there were a couple of ciders on (not keg) , quality of my Barnstormer was good, alright if you live in the area.

Hmm. Very youthful. Probably one of those places I shouldn't go. I had guinness as the place looked like one to avoid the ale (choice of only one), but my friend had a pint of proper beer and it was good. A Saturday night and there were kids downing Cheddar Valley yards of ale (in an interesting machine-gun shaped vessel). Looked bright and a bit derelict, but beer was fine and we got out alive....6/10.

the reason the pub is no longer in the good beer guide is because the pub company put the freehold up for sale under camra rules a pub which is up for sale can no longer be entered , the pub is NO longer up for sale and is expected to return in the next edition . average pint of archers , do we need to say anymore,

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon and my ears were met with banging European techno beat; there was a couple of chavs snogging at the bar and barmaid who looked at us wondering what we were doing there. Average pint of Archers drunk quickly as we edged towards the door. This pub was in the 2007 Good Beer Guide but not in 2008. I understand why.
