We visited this pub yesterday for sunday lunch. We had a table for 11 of us already booked. The venue itself is nicely decorated and very clean and welcoming. The beer garden is newly done up with plenty of room. We were glad we had booked as it was very busy!! The hosts were very accommodating as we wished to be seated outside in the sunshine, the food itself was lovely, although a little pricey. We also had great service! Very welcoming for children too. On all accounts this pub used to be an absolute dive but the new owners really have made it something special, we will visit again!!

Is still closed but according to various notices in the windows, once re-opened it will be a; Hmm gastropub called 'The Bickley' - WTF? Please, not another of these places! Besides it has been The Bickley Arms for the last couple of hundred years FFS! Although I fully agree this place is in need of a major overhaul am just not convinced this is the the right path to be going down. Time will tell I guess.

The mystery of why a well-situated, well-appointed pub with a large, affluent catchment area had become such a manky hole is over. It has now closed and is awaiting major refurbishment.

My family and I visited this pub last week and was going to sit in the beer garden that they advertise. unfortunatly it was over grown and there was dog poo everywhere. I now understand that the landlady is leaving. Hopefully the pub will have a big makeover and will live up to the beautiful exterior

This place used to be my local unfortunately, boy has it gone down hill in recent years. It's now scruffy, smelly, and rather down market. The staff usually do their best thought. Should be so much better, given it's a handsome looking building, and the leafy location.
