Hello to all, I am pleased to announce that we are the new managers of The Coney and shall be opening in December. We are part of a small chain called Mountain Range Restaurants (mountainrangerestuarants.com) and after a full refurbishment of the site we will be opening our doors to both day and evening diners and relaxed drinkers. Food will be served all day every day. We plan to creat an inviting and pleasent atmosphere and a really positive venue for the people of the area. We look forward to seeing you all very soon at the new Coney.
Many Thanks
Gavin and Imogen.

Good news for those that live in Coney Hall - the two pikeys that have been in residence at the pub have moved on - allegedly in fear of their lives over a £60,000 drugs debt. It has apparanetly already been pruchsased by someoen else - I will post a review once they are in occupation if I get around to visiting....

"i happen to be a man of the age of 32 thank you. and i am quite happy to have my name put by my comment unlike some."

Then one way or another you a clearly a liar - your profile claims you are female and 67. Probably mrs Pikey?

i agree the coney is a nice pub. not many customers which i find really weird as it should be busy every night.

the landlady and her husband are nice people and i do not think they look or act like "pikeys". if this was the case the place would be full of them and it is not.

i have eaten there a few times and the menu is really good and so is the food at a reasonable price.

the comment about it not being cheep is a bit much as the beer here is far cheaper than the pubs in the high street at west wickham.

i would like also to say there are no need for personal insults on this site as i agree that it is not meant to be about some ones revenge page.

i happen to be a man of the age of 32 thank you. and i am quite happy to have my name put by my comment unlike some.

i can only assume that this person who keeps making insulting comments about the owners are barred from the establishment for being as we can see stupid.

i thought this site was for reviews on a pub not a chance for idiots to slate people. i have used this pub for nearly a year now and have noticed as by others that the owner not only tries to keep a frienly child environment but she also does alot more for the community than most of the middle class surburbia residents.

other pubs offer a service of drinks, food and the normal you would expect from a pub, but this place offers more. how many landlords look after thier customers as previously written by other users.

i would suggest that this site looks carefully at the people using and abusing it.
