Ballo's!!!the sign at the end of the road is now too complicated to comment on!
Anyway new people deserve a chance, Will try it soon.
If only the dear old pub name would be restored!

No longer a 'pub' but a bistro and a further name change. It will be interesting to see who it attracts.

Neigh, Neigh, If you like your fodder and ale continue west a mile or two. Another candidate for conversion into a private residence. Sad to see how this place has changed. Take care when getting out of the car park, cars coming from the Albourne direction come round the blind corner at a fair lick.

THE GALLOPS! at the Henfield end of this Rd is a sign that says "the Wheatsheaf rd, also known as the Albourne rd"
How any muppet could change the name of this pub amazes me. For this reason alone its to be avoided.
The Wheatsheaf was a great country pub 20 years ago, two tiny bars and a open fire, corn dollys on walls.

Used to be a reasonably good locals pub, until they changed it into a sudo posh Pub/Restaurant, with prices to match but food that didn’t.
There are better close by.
