Local boozer that does very good food. Sunday roasts a speciality. Pretty relaxed and nice eclectic crowd.

Downside - beers aren't cheap and it is a real footie pub, so if you're not into footie, avoid it on a Sat afternoon etc as it gets rammed (and you can forget about getting quick service!).

This is my local pub and I think I've done pretty well on that front! The staff are friendly and the decor is nice with outside seating too. There's always good local ale on tap and usually one on special offer at 2.75 which is always a bonus....

The food is very good and reasonably priced - I don't eat meat and I'm pleased to say there is always an interesting sounding veggie special on the menu.

Pub quiz is good too. The only downside is that it gets rammed when there's a match on so I tend to avoid it then. Still in Brighton you're never more than a tipsy stumble away from another pub....

Just started 3rd year at uni at Brighton and moved to Queens Park area - the staff at the Georges are lovely. They are really friendly and made me feel very welcome. Their sunday roasts are really tasty and easily the best in Brighton from my experience and I like a Sunday Roast! They play a good range of music from folkie indie to funka and soul and the atmosphere is always really calm and friendly. Well done guys, it is rare to find such a nice pub still exists!

Great unknown Brighton pub, really changed in the last year. The food is always amazing, best roasts in town and always interesting local food during the week. Really freindly and helpful staff and a good atmosphere! Family friendly which is great for me and can watch the game with the kids. Good local ale and beers, and away from the hubbub of the town centre, a must, 5 stars!
