| I went to this pub to see the Chelsea -Liverpool match, and I have to say that it was awful, a group of guys were all the time abusing the rest of the crowd, and they were allowed by the managers to carry on because they were mates. | I have no idea what this person below is saying. The place is a vast improvement to the pub it once was. It looks cleaner and cosier than before and seems to have turned away the somewhat dodgy past clientele. Still great food and nice big round tables to sit around with your mates. | What happened?!?!?! Where did it go wrong?!?! I used to love this place but its all changed. Weird colour scheme now, all bare and empty looking. Filthy, awful music and still expensive. Bar staff have changed and the two girls looked utterly uninterested in being there and serving me. Selling snuff behind the bar?!... what?! I won't be going back. | this is a great place to chill out with mates and has a really good atmosphere. its the best pub in the area by far and has friendly bar staff who are very welcoming. its nice to watch the football on the big screen and has a nice big beer garden i can hide in if my team loose! the music is great and much better than the usual 'blah blah blah' you hear in other pubs. I like open mic nights (monday i think) coz their always good for a laugh and friday nights have proved to be a lot of fun. its got to be one of my favourite pubs in brighton. they are dying breed so treasure this one! pubman19741 - 18 Aug 2007 18:16 |
| What a find! A wicked bar with great music and very friendly staff. Only went here for the first time this week and absolutely loved it. Will def be going back. Great atmosphere and excellent Indie/rock music playing. Got some great events coming up that I cant wait for. Most excellent and comfy pub sofas ever.....more comfortable than my bed at home!
