| As a local a couple of facts need clearing up here. The landlord is not a cockney and may possibly be offended by the suggestion that he is. Also, the connection with the George and Dragon was via the then leaseholder. | Visited for the first time yesterday, superb pint of London Pride and the best smokers facilities in Worthing. It was also a pleasure to see immaculately clean gents toilets, competent bar staff and a genuinely friendly crowd of people consisting of all age groups. We will return soon and try the food. | I'm a frequent visitor for Sunday luch and the menu is excellent. Cheerful and helpful bar staff and the last time I was there Mum had the kids all pitching in to help. | I think the landlord has done OK with this one, worth a visit and I hear the food is very good. I think this is the same landlord that destroyed the George and Dragon in Tarring, previously one of the best pubs in Sussex.
