| This is the best pub in the town if your over 25. Too much jazz on for me but lots of people clearly like it as those evenings are popular. Very old pub that has been extended, very good food at reasonable prices and a landlord that does remove anyone that is causing a problem thus allowing the silent majority to enjoy themselves. | Good selection of beers. HSB was top notch. Lots of wood panelling, with more traditional atmosphere. Friendly barman. Mix of young and old, so not for the All Bar One crowd. Probably the best pub within walking distance of the town centre. Jack_Boc - 17 May 2006 00:05 |
