| Face like a smacked a*** is an insult to ar**s. Landlady is probably the worst in England. Never going back. Food was like eating cardboard slippers. benkevgwen - 15 Jan 2010 18:04 |
| Good Pub, always visit when I am in Bournemouth. Excellent cross crowd, good landlord, is it still Dave? KP - keith@keithdavis.co.uk - 11 Jun 2004 22:40 |
| I'm a young local. Agree very much with the comments from john. The locals of all ages welcome new comers. John the barman is still there but is on the other side of the bar. if you ever wanna visit a nice community pub then this is the place!! Leighton get us a pint in!!! Matt - 19 Feb 2004 20:35 |
| Large and friendly community pub. Big screen for the footie. Last time I was there the food was basic but excellent value for money. John the barman (if he is still there) is a gem. Good cross section of locals of all ages drink here. Also put a great spread on Sunday's for the pub footie team. Used to have Flowers at £1.50 a pint but don't know if this is still the case.
