Presently being converted into shops downstairs and a guest house upstairs.

Still closed. It was a good pub once, particularly when it first reopened as the Black Bull, but declined steadily over a number of years and is not particularly missed.

There are regular rumours of reopening, but nothing has materialised yet.

Currenly closed and boarded up.

Was disappointed that only one real ale was available on our visit. Strangely for this part of the world it was Fullers London Pride. But it was ok. The pub is bright and clean and feels spacious. I guess on a friday / saturday night it probably gets quite packed but on friday afternoon it was fairly empty. There is a room with a pool table but it was obviously not a full size table so we just couldn't raise the enthusiasm to partake.
In a town packed with pubs, and a number of good pubs at that, this place doesn't really have anything special about it to attract.

Ok everyone! The "Bull" was a bit run down in the past. But a new intake of owner has livened it up a little. It might not be the cheapest pub in Stamford! But it is a lively one with disco and karaoke on the weekend. Even the food menu has gone up market. Give it a try but you still get a certain amount of the idiots in on the weekend. Prior to going to the night clubs.
