Really nice pub , located very close to the Leeds Liverpool canal. Visited 01/07/15 & the Thwaites Original was only £2.70 a pint!! Food was excellent too with dinners,(I don't call it Lunch) from a fiver. Staff were very friendly, just wished I'd have tried the Stew & Hard!!

cosy, if fairly basic, village pub in the lovely village of Foulridge. Owned by Thwaites I presume as it has their range of real ales on sale. Said to be haunted by Quakers as supposedly some headstones from the nearby Quaker burial ground were used in its construction.

Very nice pint of Thwaites and cracking home made pub food, filled yokshire puds and great steak pies.
A real treat if you like a genuine village boozer.
