this pub is nice at weekends, its not mind blowing brilliant but its good. The pizzas are great and the staff are friendly. Beers good...just abit small in there and gets abit busy at weekends.

Hurrah - Jacksons has reopened for business. No tried it yet. Comfy sofas and chairs now tho, so a softer edge than before.

It's been closed down for a few months now.

Unfortunately, it seems that the owner died :-(

Considering the adverts on TV, NatWest may consider buying it and turning it back into a bank (It still looks like a NatWest from outside).

The previous manager and staff (very nice people) now seem to be based in Kew (see Lammas dot com for more details). I must admit, appearances are deceptive and I found the people there to be very friendly and welcoming. Although no real ales were available on tap, they had an extremely large wine/foreign lager list.
