| I am new to blackburn and I was enquiring about the local pub scene. Some body who I work with mentioned the sun as a pub to try during the day and at weekends to sample the atmosphere. During the day there is a very warm friendly welcome from the bar staff, with a wide selection of beers and ales. There is also a juke box in the pub which plays a good variety of music. One Saturday a few people that I work with decided to try the sun. There was a DJ who took requests and seemed very approachable. There were also people dancing and not just on the floor !!!
