| Visited Chancellors for the first time in a long time and was quite impressed. The refurb (finally!) happened this summer and the result is a sleek, clean, modern bar which will definitely be worth a visit if the sunshine shows up next summer :) Oh, and the beer's cheap too. beerywilf - 14 Oct 2008 19:35 |
| Cool place to hang out in between lecture. Lots of live music nights, friendly bar staff and a great cocktail night on Mondays. Channies, as it is affectionatly called by those that work for the Student Union, will be refurbed over Christmas so come and check out the new look in January!! anonymous - 5 Nov 2007 21:43 |
| First note, it is 'Chancellors' (no 'The' in the name). A student bar is a student bar, and as they go I would say this is one of the better ones. I have had a few different ales between lectures. T.E.A. from the local Hogsback Brewery is the 'regular' ale. Food is good in there, especially the onion rings!
