| Just passing through, so I called in for some food and a pint. Both were fine, but the White Hart appears to be the home of quite a few blue flies. All of which decided to have a go at my ploughmans. Eating food while trying to stop a dozen or so blue flies landing on my food wasn't my idea of a good pub experience. | Nice Old pub,Yep saw the big fat fluff ball lying on the bar counter! Opted 4 a pint of Doom Bar, but cos it was carnival night this did come in a plastic glass. still a 7/10 is prob about right...... fat_beer_badger - 15 Oct 2006 12:54 |
| A pub with a bar. Serves local ales & lager. Smokey! (Bar frequented by a black &white cat, although he has been barred, keeps sneaking in when bar staff not looking)! A couple of tables outside front on pavement. An interesting and historic horse pond nearby, where in by-gone days horses complete with their coaches were driven into the pond to be washed!!
