| There were four people in here playing darts during my recent week night visit and one of them was the barman. He spotted me as soon as I walked in and left his game to politely serve me a decent pint of Guinness. There is also a pool table along with some plasmas and a projector for showing Sky Sports, but as no sport was being played the plasmas were being used for the videos on some music channel. The toilets are located upstairs and the condition of the gents was unacceptable as it had not been cleaned for some time and the door off of one of the two cubicles was missing and both bog rolls were sitting on the damp floor. I dread to think what the state of the toilets is when the pub is busy. There is no real ale and the décor is basic, but this place is ok for a pint whilst waiting for a train from the station over the road. Strongers - 11 Sep 2009 20:29 |
