Popped into this pub last night. Prompt service, decent beer and a nice crowd. Not a local haunt of mine but I will be back in the not so distant future.

Pool Table??? It is 10 years since the place had a pool table.

'A pub of two halves' - one with large screens for footy, pool table and a younger customer base. The other more comfy, soft lighting and quieter. I prefer the latter (being a 40-something old git). But the two mix well enough. Decent beer. Reasonable food. 'Lively' Friday/Saturday nights. Beats getting beaten-up in Bromley...

Set foot in this place for the first time in about 10 years the other day since it stopped being a family pub. Had heard bad things, and maybe on a weekend the atmosphere is different but on my visit it was reasonably busy, a lot of commuters and middle aged couples, as well as punters watching the football, and the beer was quite well kept. Interestingly it also has two sets of toilets, which is not something you see much.

Could be so much better, prime location in Petts Wood but has always struggled. Needs a homely touch e.g. better kept beers and home made food. Perhaps they should grass over the car-park and have more benches outside.
