| 'A pub of two halves' - one with large screens for footy, pool table and a younger customer base. The other more comfy, soft lighting and quieter. I prefer the latter (being a 40-something old git). But the two mix well enough. Decent beer. Reasonable food. 'Lively' Friday/Saturday nights. | Set foot in this place for the first time in about 10 years the other day since it stopped being a family pub. Had heard bad things, and maybe on a weekend the atmosphere is different but on my visit it was reasonably busy, a lot of commuters and middle aged couples, as well as punters watching the football, and the beer was quite well kept.
