| I have been to this establishment a few times now and have really enjoyed my trips. My husband has had the half lamb shoulder a few times now and phew! its a huge portion!!! Great value for money at £15.95. The landlord could do with a smile on his face every now and then which would be alot more welcoming but nonetheless, a thoroughly enjoyable meal!! | Don't let the fact that this pub is situated right next to a garage, it's well worth a visit. If you want good, inexpensive food on a Sunday evening, this is the place to come to, be wise and book a table though. Expect staff to be helpful and friendly. GordonJames - 7 Jul 2005 09:42 |
| Terrific old coaching house, well kept beers to suit all tasts. Food is really comprehensive, extensive bar menue (chalk board ) and a very nice " up market " restaurant, for wining and dining the nagger.
