This pub has been re-opened
Me and my husband took a visit a weekend in Nov 2011
A fantastic young girl is now running this pub the new manager with some amazing staff they are such lovely people very friendly and helpful.
She has put a lot of heart and soul into this pub you will be able to see that by your first visit .
Great customers service they are funny and cheerful.
As this pub has always been known for trouble, drugs and more change over hands than any E17 pub it looks like they might just have a chance this time.
The choice of ale is limited right now only two pumps but they have a guest one in every month a change of drink for the punters.
The beer pumps are full of every favourite beer my husband loves a Carlsberg so he was happy me I love a wine and They had some fantastic ones available at such a low price.
We had arrived just after there happy hours and WOW it was £1.75 a pint that discount was on every pump and a fantastic £1.75 a single shot of any spirit a double I think was just £2.50 with them prices I am more than sure everyone there was happy .
The place was very clean and tidy you could see they were getting new stuff put up and fitted the customers all loved the new super size screen for the football and a warmth of this place is now starting to come back.
Loved the visit well done Brooke.

Has been closed for some time, but looks as if it might be reopening as a pub again.

I would not go to this pub unless I was on a pub crawl. I would have one drink, then leave...quickly.

As at 23 March 2010 this one has closed again. Very recently by the looks of it. The affable African gentleman guarding the place indicated that it may be for good this time.
