| I must say, I was looking forward to this after it had made the AA pub guide for essex. I was however quite disappointed. The three ales on offer were GK IPA which is avaliable in most places, and not one of the best; the other two were off. | I agree; not really a pub any more. The owners have capitalised on their reputation for good food and ram packed it with restaurant tables. This means that it's nigh on impossible to find somewhere to sit if you just want a pint and difficult to get to the bar which is surrounded by locals.
