Paid a visit last week and the porkpie I ordered was awful with a hard crust and a strange colour I would not touch the food in future the beer was fair. hogshead - 5 Feb 2009 20:31
I try and void this pub as much as I can. It is usually full of chav's Kerrminator - 9 May 2008 11:24
In competition with the Regal across the road which is Wetherspoons largest venue but if you want a quiet drink away from the noisy tourists here is the place . Dog is allowed in the beer garden but not in the pub . Dont expect too much in the way of real ales as its a normal GK outlet nothing fancy. hogshead - 29 Mar 2008 09:12
Average pub with painfully slow bar service. ArthurLyman - 2 Sep 2007 12:29
Average pub. Greene King beers - Abbot, Speckled Hen & IPA. Clean and tidy. OK, but perhaps lacking in character. SilkTork - 27 May 2007 09:59
