| I agree that this is an old school boozer for sure. The trouble was that it was the first pub me and my girlfriend went in on our pub crawl so we were sober, had we had had a few by this stage it might have been a different story. The pub was filthy and was full of foul mouthed drunk alcoholic old men on a summer saturday afternoon. I wish i had known about the outside area as we would have sat out there. | This is a traditional English public house. With the added modernisation of Karaoke. If you want the plastic drinking joints or plush carpet and scented toilet rolls then this is not the place for you. If you want down to Earth drinkers with first class beers in a traditional drinking pub. Then this is the place! | the karaoke is dreadful but they have recently refurbished the garden and it looks lovely, its is in poor repair inside and the toilets ought to be condemned. Staff are lovely and its a friendly basic pub. blackcat3 - 6 Aug 2007 23:55 |
