| always liked this pub but the gents has stunk of stale urine for over 10 years. evers. - 7 Mar 2010 23:30 |
| Nice fullers pub albeit not a very warming atmosphere, staff were nice enough for a chat though. Pride, chiswick, Seafarers and ESB on, particularly enjoyed the chiswick, seafarers and ESB kept well too. Food was good and served swiftly the menu does look a bit empty. Good fullers pub for those that havent found the bricklayers yet. Mr_Walsh - 5 Jan 2010 03:46 |
| I've always had a little soft spot for this pub, used to be my favourite in Putney until I discovered the Bricklayers! Still a decent pub though with a good pint of Chiswick to be had and the Cricket on the TVs. Even better is the front opening windows which is a real bonus on a hot day tho might not be for those who don't like the noise and fumes from countless cars and 14, 74, 85 and 93 buses passing every 2 seconds! | Nothing special, but five Fullers/Gales beers on handpump. The Discovery was OK, but the atmosphere was rather remote and the service disinterested. rpadam - 5 Aug 2009 23:17 |
