Now a Slug and Lettuce, so it's still boring and expensive, but the walls are a different colour. And the food isn't as good.

I only went in here just to see what it was like I had a Quick pint then left. It was just too full of non drinkers for my liking it seemed more like a cheap restaurant than a Pub. There was hardly anyone drinking Beer it was just full of foodies eating & Coffee drinkers. The odd few people that were drinking were only having a glass of wine or cocktails.
So I left & went to the Well opposite much better more like a real drinkers Bar with Good Guinness.

ALL CHANGE!!
Ha Ha is no more; Slug and Lettuce on it's way. Opening soon. Should be interesting, although i doubt it will be much different.

I spent an early afternoon in here and thought that the £6.80 for 2 pints of lager was a little extreme. The barman/manager kept disappearing from behind the bar to do more interesting things. When he did return he would give table service, but it’s a pub and not a restaurant (or is it?).

The place was empty except for the tables by the big window front where the youngsters were posing because they were in the most expensive pub around. I had to leave when a plate of the strongest and foulest smelling pasta covered cheese dish was served.

Maybe they should rename it Ego Central.
