I dunno, PissFlap makes me laugh. I like her gritty obsession with all things toilet-related and I especially chuckled when she gave one pub 1/10 with the words, "the garden centre next door is very good". Not a criterion for marking pubs I've ever thought of using but I applaud her attempt to say something nice about the place in the most trying of circumstances. Psi - 8 Sep 2011 12:32

Ha ha ha ha ha, PissFlap, great review. But wasn't that the plot of a Marx brothers film? Psi - 16 Aug 2011 16:02
Hubby and I came here for a meal yesterday. Very nice food (as said before this is a restaurant not a pub). However our evening was ruined when rather a 'large lady' from an adjoining table slipped and fell on top of our table causing it to break in half, spilling the entire contents all over. Fortunately, we had just finished our main courses. It transpires, that the poor lady had slipped in dog faeces which had been carried in on someone's shoe. Needless to say, this rather put me off my profiteroles. Hubby later found that he had some of the offending faeces in his trouser turn ups. PissFlap - 16 May 2011 00:19
Well, where do you start? We went in on Friday night at about 9pm. The bar area was packed with mainly men. The people are a cross between 'Minder' and 'Only fools & horses'. There are undoubtedly some proper villians but mainly cardboard gangsters and young wannabees. The place is ridiculously expensive, but then it would be because it's really a restaurant. If you're a smoker it's a great place to have a drink thanks to the excellent garden area with sliding roof panels and nice seating and patio heaters. All in all, very much take it or leave it. pikeyfish - 25 Nov 2010 11:04
