My Favorite pub in London!
Always a hit on the Dukes Head FC London Drink Up!

Sorry we missed it this year!

rare old-fashioned pub off leicester square, has lots of character although it's a bit care-worn. reasonable beer, friendly staff

Dirty little pub, but worth a stop if you are out of options.

This pub is a comedy shrine as many Tony Hancock fans would know it's writers used to drink here and incorporated the name of the pub into Hancocks Half Hour.
Though quiet and discreetly hidden from the rest of the West End throng, it sadly has a hygiene problem. Every time I've been in, there's always been quite a few flies knocking about. And the beer always tastes like they haven't cleaned the pipes for months. Shame as this pub, if cared for, could have great potential.
