| Well worth a visit, three cask Thwaites ales available. The refurbishment has fortunately been done more tastefully than many. Didn't try the food although the menu looked good. alexw - 3 Jan 2012 07:29 |
| Now called the 'Inn at the Station', the bar is relocated and the pub has been fully refurbished. There is a strong emphasis on food, but still enough 'pub feel' about the place. Has a spacious outside drinking area, which is a great sun-trap. Cask ales were Thwaites Original, Wainwrights and the new IPA. The last-mentioned was in very good form. Prices are at the more expensive end of the scale (�2.80 for the IPA), but the pub is well worth a visit and handy for the railway station. wobblybob - 26 Aug 2011 11:15 |
