The beer is in good condition. The place needs a 'tidy up'. When I visited it was 'For Sale', never good seeing signs like that on a pub. Will it survive?............I fear 'owner greed' and the current market for country pubs says NO.....Ho Hum, another pub will bite the dust. wolvesfan - 12 Nov 2011 20:20
Public Meeting 14th July 2011 Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney - to buy the Wonston Arms and save this pub for the Community! www.thewonstonarms.co.uk lisafaye - 13 Jul 2011 08:29
Yes The Wonston Arms is up for sale, but we are looking to but it as a community! There is a public meeting Thursday 14th July to see what interest there is in buying it as a community to keep this great pub going!! Who's interested?? Lisa lisafaye - 13 Jul 2011 01:29
It absolutely breaks my heart to report that the 'Wonny' is up for sale. It appears that its long history as a boozer may be coming to an end as it seems most of the interest is in making it a residential property. My 2nd home for 17 amazing, event filled years, if I could afford it I would buy it. Anyone out there looking for a proper, real ale serving, drinkers, village boozer? thegaffer - 15 May 2011 01:48
Haven't posted anything here for some YEARS it seems. Went to a Thursday night a couple of weeks ago - brilliant. The beer and company was as good as ever. Still not sure what the food situation is! Go in and ask! Tequilover - 5 May 2010 12:35
