Now winter has gone and the fire is no longer needed this place is great. Get there early to get a seat, only problem is limited seating but if you get one it's lovely.

now it's been redone as Foundry it has alovley relaxing atmosphere, open fire that kept us more than entertained with its smoke-producing properties and bless the bar staff who did their best to keep it going! good comfy chairs and nice beer. It's a great place to bring visitors to.

Great find (yep, it is now called The Foundry). Popped in early afternoon yesterday after some post Christmas shopping and was pleasantly surprised.
Very friendly barman, good selection of real ales well kept and some tasty pizzas too. Also good tunes on the stereo!
Had a very relaxing drink and pizza and couldn't fault the place.
Will look forward to revisiting one evening when I can sample more of teh ales on offer and soak in the atmosphere.

Now the Foundry, lovely little pub with friendly atmosphere and well kept Harveys and TT Landlord, one of favourites.

This is now the Foundry, and a very nice pub it is too. I would recommend for Friday night drinks with an eclectic, friendly crowd and happy, fast wrokign staff!
