They have a rotating real cider & a perry from Middle Farm (National Cider Centre) nr Lewes. Currently a Gwatkin cider & Hecks Blakeney Red perry. Tables in the street outside, for watching all the North Lanes shopppers go by. Small outside seating area at rear.

Good pub for the Thai Food - 2 courses for about a tenner, all freshly cooked in the clearly visible kitchen behind the bar. Sadly their only proper beer (Hardys) was off at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night, which left you with an uninspiring choice of cider, Carling or Guinness.

Also the Gents is ridiculously small.

A lovely friendly pub in the North Laines area with a little courtyard out at the back. Don't let the frontage put you off; this place is buzzing with a young-ish crowd, efficient staff, a terrific range of Ciders and an interesting Thai food menu.

A young crowd but not a party place. Perhaps somewhere to start the night but there's nothing to keep you here for long.

I'd have said that the food was just okay. My pint of Harvey's was fine. The service was good when we arrived with three behind the bar but when we left the bar had been completely abandoned by the staff and punters were wandering in then out again as they couldn't get a drink. A bit slack.
