Handy pub just outside the brighton Railway Station. I popped in for something to eat and found a good selection of fresh food on the menu. I ordered fresh sea bass, and it arrived at my table in good time. The food was well presented and hot. The sea bass was cooked well and tasted really fresh. I had a choice from a good selection of beers as well. The atmosphere is airy and clean with ample seating.

Went in to watch the football, nice staff and a good pint, a little on the pricey side.

Best pub near the station by far. Sorry to hear landlady is moving on aas she always made you feel welcome. Best of luck in Croydon!

Itis so rare to go into a pub (especially near a station!) where you are made to feel like a regular if you order a second drink. The landlady loves her sport and and her pub and makes you believe that she wants to be there which again is rare in england. Loads of drink offers great pint of star and big tellys but still retains a bit of character. top pub!!

Lovely pub, with very cheap Harveys before 7/8... Definitely not a gay bar!
