This is one of many good pubs around the station and this one has a good mix of locals and commuters. It is certainly a pub where they are keen on their sport - they have a good pool table and TV's. It is a friendly pub, the atmosphere is fine and the beer is always good. Sort of pub that the locals like as a local and visitors will generally re-visit. flagship - 22 Apr 2008 13:18
Pleasantly refurbished pub selling Harveys real ale. Sport shown on TV much of the time so good if that is your thing. Reasonably friendly but sometimes pretty busy. Brewshed - 7 Jan 2008 16:11
Went in for a drink this week-end and was pleasantly surprised. The recent refurb has done wonders for the place, now smart, clean and I liked the fact that there is more seating. Never noticed the patio before but not a bad size for central Brighton. Good selection of beers and wine and my wife rated the loos! mykidsthebiz - 25 Mar 2007 11:40
This Pub has been recently renovated, it now has a delightful courtyard garden, clean friendly interior. state of-the-art entertainment system which includes stand up comedians and music videos. puddy - 19 Mar 2007 10:57
This could be such a lovely pub, but as usual they insist on showing sport. What is it with that?. Filled with a mixture of locals..some friendly some no so. Its not the sort of place you go to for a quiet drink with you other half or somewhere to read the paper in peace. TheWizard - 16 Jul 2006 04:57
