| popped in to this pub for the first time in a year or so, what has happened! it's filthy, dark, miserable and had some bloke behind the bar trying to juggle bottles and glasses ( he was no tom cruise) Think i'll give it a miss avanother - 11 Sep 2009 16:06 |

| Oh dear. I have just revisited this pub and it is not very good at all. The previous tenant let it run down very badly and it needs a lot of TLC. The food used to be great but now it is not very good. The beer is still o.k. but is very expensive. A pint of ESB is £3.20 and in the Ship and Bell it is £2.95.
