I have been here maybe a dozen times, all on weekends. Very nice pub, friendly staff, decent drinbk offers on a few occasions. The music is good and generally play what you request. Is a good place to stop off for a pint when heading down broad st, however on a few occasions has been a good place to spend the night.
In my oppinion (tho I can understand the Plastic Paddy comment if aimed at Oneills) apart from the name its not really Irishy(if thats a word). Head down digbeth for proper Irish pubs, proper Irish party atmospeher and better beer

A nice escape from the rest of broad st. Although the music is the same as other bars, it doesn't have the meat market feel the rest of broad st does, and there's free entry and resaonable drink prices too. Not a place to spend the whole evening, but well worth stopping for a drink or two.

Was in here over the weekend, and thought the atmosphere was really great. Its not as rammed as a lot of places on Braod Street, and the bar staff are really friendly. Good place to come for after work drinks, or a big night out. Food at lunch time is really good value too.

Typical plastic paddy bollox. Loads of people go here to pretend they are Irish. Overpriced load of fake crap IMO
