The last time I was in this pub earlier this year a local pissed up apache soiled himself at the bar, and I ain't talking fluids. Will NOT be back.

Excellent reasonably priced, local food. Only a couple of real ales on tap although well kept and the best place to get a pint of the locally brewed Jouster. Attached wine shop has an excellent selection, which you can drink in the pub for 5 corkage which is a great deal.

Not so much of a boozer, more of a place to head for a meal with friends or a few drinks with your other half.

Music was not great - quiet enough but very bland - seems to have improved with new staff recently though.

A pleasant place to stay, with an attractive room at a very reasonable price and a good English breakfast, but there was loud music in the bar, so we ate elsewhere.

The food here in both the bar and the dining room is exceptional. Good quality ingredients locally sourced and well presented. The bare area is good and the staff attentive and friendly. The beer (Jouster and Archers) were both excellent. The concept of tasting wine before a meal then paying only 5.00 corkage to drink it is a good one in these days of high mark ups.

This country inn is under new management now, the swedes have left and it is typically british, fantastic food - something for everyone and it is reasonably priced. There is also a wine shop which is fantastic as they do wine tastings for guests!!!! We stayed for a weekend and the hotel side is also brilliant - not one complaint and both me and my partner will be staying next time we are in Winchcombe, all the staff were so friendly and helpful and seemed to really enjoy their work!
