| A cheap and cheerful local pub. More of a locals pub than it's village counterpart The Bird In Hand but, perhaps becasue of this, has a better atmosphere because of it. There's opportunity for pool, darts and skittles to be played. Overall it has good value food and drink when compared to it's immediate contemporaries close to it locally and has a friendly welcome from it's current landlord and landlady. anonymous - 22 Mar 2005 14:02 |
