| Had a couple of pints of the locally brewed (Tintern) bitter, which was very good, but the main comment is about the food. There four adults in our party, and three noisy grandchildren. | Last week I had the best meal here that I can ever remember, of any pub or restaurant. I simply had to register here in order to record that. The low rating which other viewers gave this pub shocked me, I thought it was fabulous. Some of the reviews are quite old though. Perhaps it is a recent improvement. 10/10 from me.
