| Charver central. Should be renamed Mushroom Bar at the Gate. Awful in every way from the punters to the over-priced p*sswater beer. | Went in here last night, wot a crap place. Its massive, yet it doesnt even get half full! First of all, i went out looking like a little kid and the door staff didnt even ask me for ID, then when i asked for a vodka and red bull, the half dressed girl behind the bar said "£7 please". i was like you have got to be kidding me! | £3.10 for a bottle of corona.. well that's your fault for not getting any of the ample deals that are on. It's really cheap if you're a student, plenty of deals on such as.. £1 for a margharita, £1.50 for bottles of Fosters, Carling, VHF, Single Vodka+ Shark, £2.50 for a double vodka shark (£6 for a jug). plus free shot with every drink if you are a student. these promotions are on sunday through to thursday. other promotions have included BOGOF's on cocktails, bottles of miller & reef occasionally. nellster - 9 Nov 2006 21:17 |
| This place is alright, if you're a student (like me) who is just passing by (we usually go in here after Players @ the Gate) but be prepared to pay big money for anything! £3.10 for a Corona! You're having a laugh, do what i do and get your money's worth - £3.50 for cocktails - although i recently found out that they use milk in their Pina Coladas!!!
