| Popped in for a couple during an evening jaunt down to Tewkesbury from Birmingham. There were no real ales, but I found a really friendly pub with friendly locals and bar staff who engaged me and my wife in conversation almost immediately. | has some good acts on - the manager is a bit of a plonker!! good atmosphere. The best act I ever saw here was Ian Scott who does an incredible Tom Jones and Neil Diamond. | this is a caberet bar that has acts on most nights of the week. its thursday nights are the best and they often have tribute acts like tom jones, tina turner and madonna. all ages seem to drink there, but its more popular with slightly older people. it can get really busy so if want a seat then you have to get here early. is quite dark inside and quite small but does have a good fun atmosphere. juicyjennyxx - 2 Apr 2005 14:31 |
